Only a few weeks are left for the upcoming 5th Cloudscape Brazil due to be held on 25 July 2018 at the Centro de Convenções de Natal in Natal, Brazil during the Conference of the Sociedade Brasileira de Computação (CSBC 2018).
The agenda of the 5th edition of Cloudscape Brazil is dedicated to “Trusted Technologies for strong and competitive economies”, to demonstrate how new technology trends and novelties are stimulating innovation in different business sectors. The event will also be combined with the 3rd edition of the Workshop on Cloud Networks (WCN), an academic event organized by the EUBrasilCloudForum project.
Cloudscape Brazil 2018 with have a both a strong focus on industry as well as policy topics. The event aims to promote business partnerships between EU and Brazilian SMEs, and researchers as well as discuss how EU and Brazil will work together to exploit a joint-digital market and be an active player in the worldwide landscape.
European and Brazilian start-ups, SMEs and industry experts will be given an opportunity to pitch their technologies and solutions to a global audience, thereby maximising visibility, network with potential partners, know about technologies that can bring innovation to their businesses and be aware of next policy priorities in ICT between Europe and Brazil, to exploit the digital market within both regions.
The event is also tailored for research and academia representatives as they can know about the future digital priorities for their research results, find industry partners for them and know tips on how to improve their projects' sustainability.
Policy makers also stand to benefit from participating, as they can share with citizens their national strategies to support market innovation, and collect feedback from market players about what are the main needs from society and what are the main challenges for market growth.
Aside from attending, there is also an open call for demos, position papers and posters.
Demos are open for SMEs, projects and solution providers to showcase their solutions, products and services where a dedicated space has been reserved for them.
Position papers are also being sought on various topics where accepted position papers will be presented in a dedicated session in the co-located WCN to be held immediately after Cloudscape on 26 July. Accepted papers will be distributed across the joint EU-Brazil research and industry community.
Finally, accepted posters on research and project developments will be showcased to the event participants.
