EUBrasilCloudFORUM Concertation Meeting will take place in Brasilia (Brazil) on 18th April 2018. It will be organised by EUBrasilCloudFORUM, an EU-BR project funded by the European Commission and MCTIC to support the EU-BR collaborative projects (e.g. ATMOSPHERE) in the collection and promotion of their results and activities.
The purpose of this half-day meeting is to jointly form a plan of action with EU-BR projects from the 3rd and 4th collaborative calls, to collaborate on the future priorities for EU-BR research landscape in ICT.
Along with ATMOSPHERE; all the EU-BR projects from the third and fourth collaborative calls will learn more about cloud computing, 5G, IoT and other relevant ICT topics. The discussion will focus on how the project's technical work and cross-border demonstrations will address / have addressed issues such as personal data protection, flows of data, portability of data, etc. Projects will also provide information/evidence regarding the hurdles in these areas and recommendations for further actions either in research or policy.
The main audience of the meeting are all EU-BR collaborative projects from 3rd and 4th calls, along with representatives of the European Union and Brazilian Government Institutions RNP and MCTIC.
ATMOSPHERE was invited to join the panel of speakers at the “EU-Brazil ICT collaboration today” event , taking place at 09:50 AM. ATMOSPHERE will present its main goal, describing the expected results and main assets that will be available by the end of the funding-period. Additionally , ATMOSPHERE will also provide recommendations for further actions either in EU-BR research or policy.
ATMOSPHERE will network and increase visibility with its peer EU-BR funded projects and have an active role by providing recommendations that will support transatlantic collaboration.
