ATMOSPHERE was presented at the Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg2018), from October 22nd to 25th, in Natal (Brazil). The SBSeg is a scientific event promoted annually by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). It represents the country’s main forum for disseminating research results, debates, exchange of ideas and relevant activities related to information security and computational systems, aiming to integrate the Brazilian community of researchers and professionals working in this area.
ATMOSPHERE project was invited to join the International Workshop of Cybersecurity (WCISC), to demonstrate how it is increase privacy and security levels of Cloud Computing.
Andrey Brito, from Federal University of Campina Grande, presented ATMOSPHERE goal on designing and implementing a framework and platform relying on lightweight virtualization, hybrid resources and Europe and Brazil federated infrastructures to develop, build, deploy, measure and evolve trustworthy, cloud-enabled applications. The audience, composed by Brazilian researchers and IT professionals, became aware of ATMOSPHERE workplan for the next months.
